ALL ABOUT OMBRE BROWS
Semi-permanent tattooing for eyebrows
THE BASICS
What are Ombre Brows?
Ombre brows are also known as powder brows, it's a semi-permanent form of tattooing for your eyebrows which mimics the look of coloured in brows similar to that of an eyeshadow.
They should last anywhere from one to three years prior to needing a touch up depending on various factors regarding skin type, lifestyle and and personal preference.
Ombre brows are a low maintenance service, they still require grooming and NO, WE DO NOT SHAVE OFF YOUR NATURAL BROWS

We create the shading in between and throughout your brow hair on that skin.

How are Ombre Brows Achieved?
The Tattoo Process
Ombre Brows are achieved using a single 1rl needle by machine. However, the difference between a regular tattoo and ombre style brow tattooing is that ombre brows are only tattooed on the surface layer of your skin, whereas regular tattooing enters the deepest layer.
Touch ups
Why?
Ombre brows are only performed on the most superficial layer of the dermis.

Therefore, depending on a variety of factors such as the type of skin you have, your daily lifestyle (exercise, swimming, tanning etc), or your personal preference (natural vs bold brows) - this can help determine when you will need to come for a touch up.
HOW TO PREPARE
THE DO'S AND DON'TS
DO NOT CONSUME ALCOHOL 24 HOURS PRIOR
DO NOT CONSUME IBUPROFEN (ADVIL/TYLENOL) 24 HOURS PRIOR
DO NOT CONSUME CAFFEINE 24 HOURS PRIOR
DO NOT CONSUME VITAMIN E, FISH OILS 24 HOURS PRIOR
RETINOL, ACNE CREAMS, EXFOLIANTS (OR ANYTHING WITH ACTIVE INGREDIENTS) MUST BE AVOIDED MINIMUM 1 WEEK PRIOR AND 2 WEEKS POST-TATTOO
YOU MUST WAIT 1 YEAR AFTER BEING ON ACCUTANE

Anything that causes your blood to thin should be avoided prior to your appointment. Blood thinners causes and increase in sensitivity and that increase in sensitivity can cause further bleeding and possibly damage to the affected area.

Anything that promotes cellular turnover should also be avoided minimum 1 week. This also includes facials of any kind.
You'll also want to avoid these for the two weeks following your tattoo session.

It's important to remember that the tattoo is a result of not only the service provider but the client as well and their willingness to follow both the pre- and post- care.
THE CONSULTATION
WHAT TO EXPECT
A detailed consultation will be performed prior to any tattooing.
We will go over your skin type, skin texture, face shape, eye shape, lifestyle, and brow goals.
These are all very important factors to ensure we can meet your goals as best as possible.
If something is not possible, we will always provide a detailed explanation as to what can be adjusted to get you to your dream brows.

TATTOO TIME
THE PROCESS
After the consultation is completed and the pre-draw is perfected, its time to tattoo!

As per training recommendations, the first past will be done without a numbing agent, this allows for a crisp and clear line to be made without the swelling effects that a numbing agent has.
However, for the shading portion, a secondary numbing agent will be applied in between the lining pass and the first shading pass.

Each brow will be passed over a few times but I will travel back and forth between them so there will be plenty of rest time.

If at any point you need a break please don't hesitate to let me know and we can absolutely take a breather.
MODEL APPLICATION
WANT TO BE A MODEL FOR LASHESBYSTEF?
At the moment I am looking for models for brow mapping and tattooing. Below is a description of how the process will work

Firstly, I will be providing the consultation separately from the tattooing session.
We will go over everything mentioned in 'the consultation' section plus brow mapping.
From there, if you would like to book a brow appointment, we can go ahead and schedule that in on a separate day.

On tattoo day, I will still go over a modified consultation plus detailed brow mapping on the day of prior to tattooing and making sure everything is as desired.

I will be booking more than enough time to sit down and answer any questions you may have!

At the moment I will only be working on tattoo-free brows but I hope to introduce correctional work later on in my brow tattooing journey.

Interested in being a model? Send me a message and I'd be more than happy to chat!
